    Description

My eBay reputation, which should be important to you - 1,200 deals, not even a neutral comment. That is hard to do, really it is. That speaks to selling items to people and following up, and paying for items immediately when an auction ends. I have been a member, under this same username, for 16 years.
THIS IS THE LOWEST PRICED 25TH ANNIVERSARY COUNTACH IN THE USA AT THE MOMENT. YES. FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE MARKET, UNDER 5K MILES, AND IN THIS CONDITION, MOST CARS ARE PRICED 9,000+ WITH SOME OVER 9K. THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY COUNTACH (.6M) LAUNCH AND THE NATIONAL HISTORIC REGISTRY (MOST IMPORTANT CARS OF THE CENTURY) ADDITION, WHICH BOTH OCCURRED LAST MONTH, THESE CARS ARE GOING UP, UP, UP.
THIS CAR IS NO LONGER ATTAINABLE BELOW 0,000 - LOOK FOR YOURSELF. FIND ONE UNDER 5K MILES AND UNDER 0K, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
Rarity: People talk about the 25th Anniversary (which ran from late 1988 through 1990) and its 657 cars, like that is a huge number. First, that is 219 cars per year as the anniversary car was the most successful of the Countachs, the fastest by a mile and held the record for being the fastest car in the world for 3 years until the Diablo (its successor) took over. It even ran to 60 mph as fast or FASTER than the Ferrari F40. Now the F40 was not a real production car, thereby not qualifying it on modern day standards. The Countach ran from 1974-1990 a stunning amount of years...for any car. However, during that time only 1,983 total units were produced. That is it! I mean there are less than 2,000 Countachs and over 100 have crashed, burned or been used in movies and retired from the road...leaving what experts say is closer to about 1800 actual units. That means 36 per state, but most earlier models are actually owned overseas. The fact of the matter is - this car is rare, very rare, and they are not making more of them. The "50th" is nothing like this car and that was for good reason, it was to commemorate what the Countach did for the exotic car while showcasing modern materials.
She is kept in a climate-controlled personal commercial garage that is kept at a strict 69 degrees in Summer, 75 in Winter. No snow, no rain.
This car is not for everyone, I will tell you that much.
You must be willing, and I have owned McLaren's, Lamborghinis, Lotus, Ferraris, Shelbys, and you name it - this gets 100x the amount of looks of all of them combined. You MUST be willing to understand what this car means to most "car guys" and "car women" (who seem to ask many really good mechanical questions about the car - even better than men). Jaws drop, cameras are always out the window, you are definitely a celebrity to everyone because they think you look like someone famous (or that is the conversations you hear) and that is just the start. Go to a cars and coffee, I do not care if there is a brand new McLaren Senna that is M there, everyone wants to sit inside or take a picture with the Countach. 32 years later, it amazes people....and you must be ready for that experience or this is NOT for you.
It has been my experience not to begin with foolish starting prices (e.g. ,000 for a car that we all know will sell for nearly 20x that amount). Not only does that cost the seller money by creating a reserve price, but it is misleading to a buyer. I list my cars based on their rarity, extremely low mileage, overall condition, current market prices (verifiable and provable) and a host of other factors. Right now, you are not finding this car, with this mileage, and in this shape, under 0k anywhere. Sure, you might buy one at Mecum or Barrett Jackson for 5,000, but don't forget their 10%-12% buyer's commission upcharge and lack of any real knowledge you can ask the seller (me) directly. I am not afraid of answering questions - the car is everything I say and more. I have nothing to hide. Beware of people who do not describe, well, what they are selling to you.
How many cars have I have sold on Ebay? Over a dozen including several Ferraris and another Lamborghini.
I am a member of the Ferrari Club of America, Porsche Club of America and a host of other car clubs. I know cars and have been buying and selling them for 25 years. I buy and sell only the best cars, always maintain what I own, and get my cars inspected (you can clearly see the window has stickers showing emissions and safety for 2021) and road-ready. I have won Concorso events and never placed below a 95 on any Ferrari I have entered. I have CLASSIQUE'D Ferrari's including my current Testarossa with under 4,200 original miles. I successfully Classique'd the 308 GTSi with Ferrari of Atlanta.
This is an absolutely stunning original example with less than 2,600 miles on the clock. All original car with European conversion front end. 25th Anniversary.
    Year: 1989
Fully serviced by Exoticars of Possum Hollow (Frank Zeigler) from front to rear in 2020. Compression check as well as a sediment checks were performed (with all the lab results included) before any work began on this car. When nothing was found that needed to be corrected as far as sediment, she was fully serviced (with documentation and pictures) and brought back to her former maintenance glory. Clutch life is estimated at over 50% or more - no slipping, no noises, just fast and fun. She runs extremely well and will do whatever you wish her to do - or sit still and look pretty in your stable.
Original tires are included with the sale - however NEW TIRES were placed on the car for safety and per manufacturers directives. All 4 tires are indeed original and protected by Michelin tire covers and are included with the sale.
All the equipment, including the Alpine CD player are original and WORK! That is the important thing when buying a Countach - what actually is original and what actually works. This is entirely original and everything works, even the digital clock, speedometer, tachometer, gas gauge, etc. All of it works, and works as it did when it left the factory.
25th Anniversary manuals are included but they are missing the original leather folder. Original roll up tool kit was lost by the first owner.
A 25th Anniversary, with a wrecked dash, sold for 0,000 on Bring a Trailer in recent months. Since that time, the 50th Anniversary Countach was released for .6M as well as this car was registered (the black one) in the historic registry for its place in automotive history. These cars are priced overseas right now in the 0,000 range with such miles. Here, if you can find one with under 3,000 miles (2,502), and all the above, well, this is the price. Remember the odometer you see is in KM. Right now she reads 4,026 KM's.
Odometer check: On autocheck, we see the common issue of mechanics not knowing how to convert kilometers into miles. But, it would have been 2,220 miles which is in line with everything else.
Owners: I am the third owner.
Keys: 3 sets! Who has three sets of ignition keys, we all know older exotic cars come with one set, right? Nope. Not here. You get 3 set of ignition keys and 2 door keys. The door keys on Countachs are often missing on these cars! THIS IS A FACT! There were over 25 different kinds of odd shaped keys that could have been used to duplicate them but the lock on the scissor door is actually very complex - requiring "keying" on both sides of the tiny key. If you lose it, you have to remove the door panel, send the lock to Lamborghini, and have them make a key - they did keep some codes but even then, they WILL NOT HELP a locksmith make a key. Many people who lost or misplaced the door key never found replacements or bothered. Given that most owners rarely lock their doors, they never replaced them. Luckily for you - you have not only a set, but 2 full sets and another spare ignition key! So you can actually lock your car when you go to a rally, event or even in your garage.
    Accidents: None.
Of course a custom car cover is included.
